Delete account in the app (recommended)
- Open When Scars Become Art.
- Go to Settings.
- Select Delete account.
- Confirm deletion.
This permanently deletes your account and associated app data.
Request deletion by email

Use subject: Delete account request – When Scars Become Art
Please include the email address used in the app account.
What data is deleted
- Account profile data (e.g., email, username, display name, avatar reference)
- Mood check-in drawings
- Body awareness entries and related history
- Journal entries and notes
- Saved in-app messages/library items linked to your account
- Associated user files stored for your account (where applicable)
Data retention
We aim to process deletion requests without undue delay. Some limited records may be retained only where required by law, for security/fraud prevention, or to complete technical backup cycles. Retained data is minimized and deleted when no longer required.
